Every so often, a project comes along that resonates deeply. A recent commission with Orygen, the youth mental health organisation, led by Professor Patrick McGorry AO was one such project. The brief was to create an image library illustrating how devices affect young people’s wellbeing — a subtle but powerful insight into their daily lives.

I’m familiar with the fragility of adolescence and the long-term impact of early experiences in these formative years.

Orygen’s approach, thoughtful, compassionate, and evidence-based, was reflected in every portrait we created, capturing both vulnerability and resilience.
