Gronows Storage had been operating from East St Kilda since 1909. Many years ago I was in between studios and needed a space to store equipment. Upon opening the door at Gronows, I was greeted by a gentle and sincere group of men. Remarkably, computers or modern digital tracking technology were nowhere to be seen. Most things were hand-written, and yet the Gronows team knew precisely where everything was located.
