In Darwin on a busy commission for NAB, my assistant and I enjoyed a rare afternoon off. I wanted them to experience an iconic local pub I’d been to previously called the Humpty Doo. It’s famous for horses at the bar, motorbikes at the table and attracts all kinds of characters. Dougie, a diesel mechanic, is one of them.
